Dollhouse miniatures in movies, bad ones

Recently I happened to watch a few episodes of TV series “The Wire” about Baltimore police. This show is noticeable (in addition to excessive usage of words f** and sh**) for one of the characters, intelligence and experienced Detective Lester Freamon. He is making dollhouse furniture, what gives him am additional income and also contributes to his eccentric reputation. It’s nothing “girly” about this character. :^-).

Here is a scene (people on youtube call it funny), were we can see Freamon polishing a miniature bed while on duty. Attention – a lot of bad language – I mean it.

One “bad” dollhouse that I remember is from a horror movie “Haunting Sarah”. An evil twin sister, played by Kim Raven, builds a dollhouse for a ghost of her died son as a place to “live”. Scary… :^-)

Really creepy miniatures are from 7 season of “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”, where a serial killer, known as the “Miniature Killer”, sends the CSI team miniature models that are exact replicas of the murder scenes.

Here is amazing videos about how they were making:

Here is CBS video about making these scenes.

These dollhouses are way to far from a kid’s toy ;-).
